As seen on a special airing of the ELLEN DEGENERES SHOW,
May 15th, 2006

This is my piece that was selected to be used for a special outdoor taping of the Ellen DeGeneres Show. On that day, the popular daytime TV talk show was taped outside, in a park near the California studios where it's normally taped. The theme for the show that day was titled "Ellen in the Park" and as you can see this piece titled "Pink Trees" depicts an outdoor park scene (It's a part of the well known Boston Commons actually) and they liked it so much that they asked permission from me to use it in the graphics. Sections of the piece were used through out the show's graphics in many ways, most notably in the "Ellen in the Park" logo they had displayed through out the show in the lower corner. They also used it on the front of the DJ booth, as a background behind the photos they used to show who was going to be on the show that day and in the "what's up next" graphics shown before each commercial break. I was told that at the actual taping of the show during each commercial break, they displayed the entire piece on the large projection screen for the attending audience. I was very happy to be given a "special thanks" credit at the end of the show too. If you're interested, I can show you sections of the show that it was used.
